It’s also a Cuban food quick serve restaurant and coffee shop. Breakfast, lunch or dinner plus amazing pastries equals one of Burbank’s best restaurants.

Another Burbank institution. Like many restaurants that have been here “forever” Eat’n Park has a tremendously loyal following. All your favorite breakfast foods like omelettes, pancakes, breakfast burritos and more are here. Portions are large and old-school. If you love old-time breakfast joints, along with drive-ins, this place is for you.

Granville is a newer restaurant on the Burbank scene although it has been here for some years now. The upscale interior in menu keeps bringing people back to downtown Burbank. As one diner writes on Yelp: “Great for pork chops. Great ahi steak Perfect  macaroni & cheese” They also say “We love the pizza too.”

Wood Ranch in Burbank as part of the chain but that doesn’t mean the food isn’t delicious. The barbecue items on the menu Will satisfy the taste of any barbecue aficionado. If you’re hungry try the full rack for barbecued ribs. Diners say the food and service is top notch which is why so many keep coming back to Wood Ranch.

The Castaway is another Burbank institution and everybody is familiar with this restaurant which sits top one of the Hills of the Verdugo Mountains overlooking Burbank in the San Fernando Valley. A few years ago the restaurant underwent the 10 million Dollar renovation which changed the interior from the former nautical theme to that upscale steakhouse. Indeed, that is the focus of the current ownership. Because of the remodel, almost every seat in the house has a panoramic view of the valley below. It’s a great restaurant for a romantic evening or special occasion.

You’ve got to work a little to find World Empanadas in Burbank but it’s worth finding. If you’re a fan of empanadas– Either meet, cheese are vegetable filled–the savory Latin pastries here are some of the best. The restaurant has gained quite a following in the few years since it’s opened up here in Burbank and it’s still going strong which is a testament to how good the food is.

Another chain with the Burbank location, the Yard House has a lot of fans. The Burbank location has been Busy ever since opening a few years ago and brings more people into this area of downtown. The food is fairly good but the real draw is the beer, especially served to you in a 16 inch tube. Beer isn’t the only thing on the menu. Diners can choose from different wines and cocktails as well.
